William Carvalho
Im in on this one if it has any truth to it, if there is one area we seem a bit lacking its a DM and if we get this fella, then what a window!!!!!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4775762/West-Ham-prepare-25m-bid-midfielder-William-Carvalho.html

West Ham United are launching a £25million bid for Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho.
The 25-year-old Portugal international has been a target for several Premier League clubs over the past four seasons but Sporting have always proved notoriously difficult to negotiate with, and have demanded a price closer to his release clause which is understood to be £39.5million.
That has naturally made West Ham wary but they are hopeful they can broker a compromise involving Carvalho's new agent Pere Guardiola, brother of Manchester City boss Pep.

They are a really entertaining team to watch as you'd expect with the likes of Neymar, Mbappe, Cavani , Verratti etc and made Bayern look a bit like YESTERDAYS men.

Could be true he was not a real standout player in this game

Re: William Carvalho
We certainly need someone to organise the defensive side of our game
Always seem to have a bunch of players ("defenders" "defensive midfielders") in our half with no plan or coordination.

Watched a bit of PSG v Bayern myself. That Mbappe is some player for 18 3/4 and Neymar seems to be having fun.

Just another player who could be a total gamble.

Don't get to excited.

Re: William Carvalho
I've been watching him in Sporting v Barca. He has not had much ball, but has done a lot of running. He kind of keeps a short distance behind the ball most of the time often being high up the pitch compared to the rest of the team. Sometimes ending up being one of Sportings most forward players. However, as Barca pushed up towards the goal he would drop back in front of his defense. I was impressed with his first touch. A few times he intercepted passes and passed to a team mate with his first touch. Passing was okay. Barca had most of the possession and won with a very flucky goal.
